The Department of Forensic Science at Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) is a practice-driven centre that integrates core sciences with applied forensic methods to train ethically grounded and industry-ready professionals. The department emphasises rigorous laboratory training, simulated crime-scene exercises and research that addresses contemporary forensic challenges.
Curriculum components include forensic biology, forensic chemistry, toxicology, serology, crime-scene management, instrumental analysis, and digital forensics, combined with internships and project work. Students gain a specialised and multidisciplinary skill set from hands-on labs, industry linkages and faculty-led research.
